ITR Marketing: Tech-Savvy Solutions for the Modern Marketer

Marketing is as old as business itself. However, over the years the face of marketing has evolved and adapted with the developments in technology. These days, low-tech marketing strategies, such as billboards, print ads, and referral systems are no longer sufficient for those who wish to truly succeed in their professional field. While these methods remain valid and important, they must now be supplemented (and in many cases overshadowed) by other marketing vehicles that have gained momentum in the last decade. These include the internet, mobile phones, and social media platforms. Without a good marketing strategy formed around at least one (but preferably all three) of these mediums, your business will be out-shone by more technologically savvy and up-to-date marketing strategies employed by other companies.

Here at ITR we will teach you some of the basic technologies available for the savvy marketer today. Whether you are just starting a business or already have a marketing plan implemented in your business model, there is something for everyone.

Why Technology?

For those old-school businessmen (you know, the gentleman’s club generation), developments and innovations in technology may not seem necessary for marketing and advertising strategies. However, technology has opened up a world of possibilities. Now it is easier than ever to connect with people and target the right people in your professional niche. As more people rely on technology to interact, and as business becomes a global marketplace, technology will be one of the most important tools in your marketing toolbox.

Using Technology

Before you can use technology as part of your marketing plans, you will need to develop a strategy. As with a marketing plan, you will need to begin with research. Get to know the technology you wish to employ, research the market reach and potential, your competition, and determine your own capabilities in implementing that technology. Once you have done your homework, you can develop a plan for implementation. Start small and track your progress.
